There have been numerous reports of the tensions in Iraq. Shiites and Sunnis just can't agree who they hate more ... Western cilivization, Jews, or each other. The reports we are seeing say that those in authority need to act quickly before a "low-intensity" dispute escalates into a civil war. Low-intensity dispute? Really? Once one side bombs another's most holy religious site, killing many worshipers and destorying the temple, in a war based on religion, it's skedaddle past low-intensity.

There International Crisis Group (ICG) is asking for a change in the country's constitution that was installed in October of 2005. Really? Not barely 6 monthes after we gave them a constitution, and it's already insufficient? We're obviously not hardly the political minds of yester-year. Not only do we struggle to correctly interpret our own, but we haven't been able to install a 6-month working plan in another country we are occupying.

The ICG claims that the Shiites have high amounts of oil wealth in their South lands and the Kurdish have plenty of oil in their North lands, but the Sunni people live in the heartland of Iraq, which doesn't have nearly the oil found in the other regions. So, they suggest we take part of the Shiite oil and part of the Kurdish oil and give to the Sunni people. Sure, good plan. This reminds me of when I was little. Me and my sister would fight over candy or something and my parents would take it all and divide it evenly: one piece for you, and one piece for you. The ICG want to sit everyone down in a big pow-wow and divide it evenly: one barrall for the Shiite clan, and one barrall for the Sunni clan, and one barrall for the Kurdish clan. ICG, I don't know if you realize ... but the whole war is about oil! A third party standing the in the middle with both arms extended and shouting "STOP IT FELLOWS!! Let's talk this out over some Happy Time tea." is not going to make a lick of difference.

The ICG is asking that US troops maintain their stay in Iraq and that we even draw up the new constitution and enforce the new boundries, moving the Sunni people into Shiite territory. Sure, another great idea. While we are at it, let's get the Army Reserves here at home to help move a few Bloods into Crips territories and see how that helps out on the gang warfare here on the homefront? They said in their report that our mere presence and muscle are keep the situation from "spiraling out of control". They are strapping bombs to THEMSELVES and blowing each other up. I think it a tad-bit out of our hands?

Here's my plan. We pretend to wash our hands of the situation ... all the while, we are hinding behind sand dunes in the United Arab Emirates (since they are our new best buds) and snickering. Shiites straps bombs to themselves, Sunnis strap bombs to themselves, they run at each other, BOOM! The dust settles, and all that is left is the Kurdish people. We re-enter the country (now with only about 1\4 of it's previous population) and shake the Kurdish hands and tell them they won, keeping a straight face. While they're distracted, we pull the old school boy prank: someone crouches behind them, we push them down, and take their lunch money (in this case, oil).

At first glance, you look them bombing each other's churches and think it is brutal and wonder how they can bomb a holy site. Then, you realize this is a religous-based war. They aren't bombing each other's churches ... they are bombing the enemy's headquarters.

The report claims that the elected leader of Iraq must be protected "at all costs", because he is the only insurance policy that there will be no civil war in Iraq. No, he is an insurance policy that there WILL be civil war in Iraq. You see, he is a Shiite. The Shiites possess the two things the civil war is all about: oil and the most desireable land in Iraq (albeit still a desert). As long as a Shiite is in-charge, it is insurance that these possessions will be protected and that the Sunni people will fight to obtain it.

The ICG seem to be confused, thinking that a seperation of religion and federal government is possible in Iraq. It is NOT possible. You see, it "possible" in the United States when the Constitution was drawn up because there was, at the time, only one major religion in the population, Christianity. When the Constitution was being written, they wrote down the whole seperation of government and church deal as a joke ... one guy was laughing too hard and accidently knocked over the ink. This was the last bottle of ink, another shipment wouldn't be in for weeks ... but everyone was there that day and didn't want to make the long, painful trip again, so they dipped their feathers in the puddle and signed it, anyways.

You can get an agreement of seperation (followed by a chuckle, thumbs up and wink) in a country of one dominate religion. You are not going to get an agreement of seperation of religion and government in a country occupied by 3 major religions, all of whom are willing to kill themselves to ensure the death of the others. They are not going to ever be Republicans and Democrats ... they are going to be Shiites and Sunnis and Kurds (kind of weird how two of them sound like slang terms for feces and the other sounds like a clear, fun Summer's eve ... just saying, take it into consideration when choosing sides). You are not going to get a televised Democrat-Republican debate over there. What you will get, however, is a Shiite-Sunni quick-draw showdown at the sunsets and the loser having until midnight to be in Iran or Pakistan.

I say we stand back and all the civil war to play out. Nobody intervened in our Civil War, and I think we've done fairly well for ourselves. Not only this, but if they have a civil war, then, by definition, it can NOT involve us! And that is an exit plan.

Alright, maybe that isn't a DIRECT quote, but I was always taught that actions speak louder than words. I'm always critical of those who are suppose to lead me, but I always support them, especially the president (as I was taught to do in my Marine JROTC classes. haha). I am just as fast to laugh at a Bush joke (or Clinton or any other president for that matter), but without jokes and citizen questions, we're not a democracy. When it came down to the hammer hitting the nail, I have always reasoned whatever the issue and supported the president. While I may not totally agree with the war in Iraq, we are putting a hurting on the enemy and serving the purpose we went over to serve, and I do support the troops 100%.

However, this administration threw a curve ball out that has me speechless. Bush and this administration has agreed to put the United Arab Emirates in charge of our international ports? I'm sorry, but I have to question if he is still living a sober life? Has Cheech and Chong visited the White House recently? I know he had Ozzy there for a dinner, but isn't Ozzy suppose to be sobering up, as well? Someone call his mom. Get her in there to snoop threw his sock drawer, because something is in there that is not footwear. I don't know ... maybe he is sober, but past usage has taken effect on his short-term memory.

How quickly we forget what has happened less than 5 years ago. I know we are suppose to be color-blind and politically correct in this country, but this is taking it a little bit far, don't you think?!? I've searched threw old papers about the Cold War, neither Cuba nor Russia was given any special liberties in this country, and do you know why? BECAUSE WE WERE AT WAR WITH THEM!!!! Good Lord, you don't put the enemy in charge!

This isn't just calling them an enemy because they are Arab and our enemy is Arab. No, this is saying they are our enemy because they are our enemy. This is the same organization that harbored and exported 2 of the 9/11 hijackers. Not only this, but they also helped laundered dirty money to support the terrorist.

It has been reported that to the administration it is nothing more than a legitimate bid by a legitimate organization, and they happened to be the best bid and get the job. Well, can I ask one simple question? Why do you hate Americans so much? Would it not be worth a bit more money to hire an American organization since it not only assures the job be done to American standard but also ensure the SAFETY OF THE COUNTRY!?!

I seem to remember a certain amount of pressure and discouragement coming from this administration to the big businesses of America for out-sourcing employment for the more attractive lower wages and benefits of other countries? Can I just say, hypocrit?

You don't hire a wolf as a shepard, and you don't outsource the operation of multiple international ports to the enemy. 'Oh, but you don't understand. They are nice, now. They even let us use their waters to dock ships.' Well, of course they are nice now. We threatened them with a big weapon that falls from the sky and goes BOOM, that is why they are nice, now. It isn't because they think we are the ambassadors of freedom spreading good over the world.

Okie doke, let's forget about them being the enemy for just a second. Let's focus on a different point. Let's focus on American unemployement. We have plenty of unemployeed people here in the United States that can afford a job and won't threaten our national safety, what's wrong with them? I can put you in contact with a bunch of workers from Ford that have wide-open agendas.

Now, let's pretend that don't threaten our national safety or take jobs from Americans. Need a third reason not to let these people control our ports? How about increase in drug use? We spend how many millions and billions a year trying to not import Cuban cocaine? And they aren't even in charge of any of our ports! Now, let's think way back to when America first declared war after 9/11. Let's think back to when we first set foot on Arab land. Do you remember the nearly universal drug usuage over there? Do you remember the acres of herion farms? I don't feel really good knowing Jamacians can get marijauana and Cubans can get cocaine in the country by the tons, but I feel even less safe knowing the potential spike in herion use we could potentially see with us all but inviting it by putting UAE in-charge of our ports. I'm not saying that because they are Arab they must use herion. No, I'm saying that because they laundered dirty money for terrorist (or were associated with the terrorist at all) and the herion and drug sales supported and funded the terrorist, there might could maybe be a little bit of a connection between the two of them, as well.

Now, I've given you three reasons why we shouldn't accept them as being in-charge of our ports. 1) National security and public safety, 2) American unemployement, and 3) Drug imports. The American passtime is baseball, so let's employe the three-strike and you're out policy. So, who was the next bid in line?

The whole world seems to have it's panties in a bunch over a cartoon depicting the prophet worshipped by Muslims in a bad light. Well, boo hoo.

I must say, though, this whole thing has offended me, as well. Oh, I'm not offended that someone would make fun of Muhammad, I couldn't care less. No, I'm offended that the Muslims are offended, and I am more offended that anyone who is not a Muslim is offended! That just blows my mind. Here's a few examples of what I am talking about:

The U.S. government has spoken out against the cartoon, calling it offensive to them. The same people who tell me I shouldn't pray loudly to God in public, take a Bible to school, or publicly display the 10 Commandments, which are all principles that OUR country are founded on, tells me I shouldn't look at a cartoon because they want to protect another religion.

The New York Times have spoken out against the political cartoon calling it offensive. Who are they to talk about offensive? A news organization that has printed me half truths and whole lies are telling me to be nice to the religion that tore down two of our greatest landmarks that are right down the street from their offices? Yea, be nice to other religions that other countries were founded on, good advice. Maybe I will take it as soon as you quit disregarding both the religion that OUR country was founded on and our president and troops with similar political cartoons.

You want to be non-offensive to the Muslim people? Put black sheets over those women's heads, take their shoes off, and put them in the kitchen, where they belong. Women do not belong in the work place, and certainly not in the public eye. Just to let y'all know, this isn't my opinion ... I'm just trying to be nice and accommodate to the Muslims people, here.

I hope y'all are ready to be offended, because I'm about to show what every major organization that are SUPPOSE to bring us the entire news story has failed and refused to show us.

Wow! I don't know about you, but I feel like going outside and killing a Jew!!

Maybe I would have more sorrow for these people, except I'm a Christian. I have to see offensive images and hear offensive sound bits of my God and of Jesus every single day of my life. You know what? I have never went outside and killed an Atheist or member of the Satanic church because of it! Also, if I did, I highly doubt it would be sympathized for or excused by the U.S. government and every major news organization this side of the Prime Meridian.

You know why Muslims can get away with it and a Christian can't? Mystery and fear. Do they have the big bomb? Will they attack again? Maybe if a few Christians grab a hand full of stones, a big stick, a flaming American flag, a few fire bombs, and highjacked a commercial airline's plane, then we could display the Ten Commandments?

Muslims, you people knocked down the two largest buildings in our country, killed tens of thousands of people, shook up the city known as our toughest and bravest, and have our government and "FREE" press living in fear. In so much fear, in fact, that they have asked large businesses not to wish us Merry Christmas because it might get under your skin. This isn't the governemnt of Madagascar we are talking about, you have the most powerful governemnt in the world living in fear of offending you! So, quit whining over a cartoon. I've watched cartoons every weekend my entire life and have never once been offended. I just finished watching Bugs Bunny's Third Movie, and they had Yosemite Sam in a turban, and I wasn't the least bit offended. So, people of the Muslim faith, I will tell you what my parents have always told me: MUSLIMS, QUIT YOUR WHINING AND CRYING BEFORE I GIVE YOU SOMETHING TO CRY ABOUT!!!

I don't know, that is just my view. Maybe I'm just a white devil?
